MIDTOWN’S FIRST LICENSED CANNABIS RETAILER RE-OPENS WITH A NEW NAME AND EXPANDED OFFERINGS
New York, NY – After more than a year-long hiatus, Hell’s Kitchen Cannabis Company (HKCC), a dispensary touted for its elegance and customer service, is excited to announce its return to the corner of 40th Street and 9th Avenue in the heart of Hell’s Kitchen, Manhattan. Originally known as Hell’s Kitchen Cannabis Collective, the dispensary has undergone a name change to reflect its new, permanent status in the neighborhood. Formally a pop-up event organized by upstate cultivator Greenleaf Cannabis, the new permanent retail dispensary is the result of Greenleaf transferring its license to the city, in order to become the first licensee both growing and selling cannabis in midtown Manhattan. The rebranded Hell’s Kitchen Cannabis Company is set to become a cornerstone of Manhattan’s burgeoning cannabis scene, serving both locals and visitors alike.
To begin, HKCC will feature a combination of in-house products from their final upstate crop, in addition to products sourced from the processors responsible for the leading brands across the state. HKCC is debuting two new in-house brands in addition to Greenleaf, including a self-titled brand, and Markey ‘07, an homage to the name of the building, a 6-story former jewelry refinery finished in 1907. As the dispensary ramps up its own cultivation and processing operations, the recipe is simple: provide high-quality, locally-sourced cannabis products while supporting New York’s expanding cannabis industry.
The first licensed cannabis Micro-Business in Manhattan, HKCC is now fully authorized to grow, process, and sell its own branded products. Anything not from the factory location upstairs will be sourced locally from New York State. This means that visitors to HKCC will experience a curated selection of the finest (and freshest) cannabis flower and concentrate products, with an emphasis on craft, small-batch selections.
The new location will serve the surrounding neighborhoods of Times Square, Hell’s Kitchen, Chelsea, the Garment District, and Hudson Yards, offering a wide variety of cannabis options for all preferences. Whether you’re a connoisseur or a newcomer to cannabis, HKCC promises a premium selection that caters to every need, from flower to concentrates. Orders can be placed in store or online, at www.hkcc.nyc.
Additionally, once applications for cannabis consumption lounges become available, HKCC will be eligible for its own, and plans are in motion to pursue that opportunity as soon as it becomes available. The second floor has been converted to a gallery-style open layout, where social, educational, or entertainment-centric events can take place, even before consumption is allowed.
HKCC’s mission is to cultivate premium cannabis, develop premium cannabis products, and supply those products to discerning customers, all while showcasing the cultivation process and increasing cannabis awareness and enjoyment for consumers of any background or knowledge level.
HKCC is pleased to announce that it will also be offering delivery services to customers in its serviced neighborhoods, including Times Square, Hell’s Kitchen, Chelsea, the Garment District, and Hudson Yards. Delivery is expected to begin the week of 4/20.
The delivery option will ensure that customers can enjoy the convenience of having premium, locally-sourced cannabis products delivered directly to their doorsteps. Whether you’re at home, at work, or on the go, HKCC’s fast and reliable delivery service brings the best of New York’s craft cannabis directly to you.

“We’re thrilled to be reopening HKCC in a permanent capacity and expanding the offerings to include our own made-in-house products grown right here in New York,” said Patrick Conlin, General Manager of Hell’s Kitchen Cannabis Company, and original organizer of Hells Kitchen Cannabis Collective. “Hell’s Kitchen has always been a community that embraces new ideas and innovation, alongside community-rooted small businesses, and we’ve been humbled by the community’s vocal support and complements we received from the original pop-up. We set out to offer locals and visitors a boutique, locally-focused cannabis experience, and the entire Hell’s Kitchen community, and especially the community board, rallied behind us and recognized our performance.”
HKCC’s commitment to providing safe, reliable, and locally-sourced craft and small-batch cannabis products makes it stand out within New York’s cannabis landscape. HKCC aims to be not just a dispensary, but a destination for those looking to explore the diverse world of cannabis.
